A microprocessor is some type of computer processor which includes the functions of an computer's central handling unit (CPU) on a single built-in circuit (IC),[1] or for the most part a few integrated circuits.[2] The microprocessor is a multipurpose, time clock driven, register structured, digital-integrated circuit which allows binary data as source, processes it corresponding to instructions stored in its storage, and provides results as end result.
